Aulani Hawaii Family Vacation

Aloha!  We are so fortunate to be Disney Vacation Club Members.  This year we chose to go to Aulani on the Island of Oahu Hawaii.  10 nights 11 days!  We did not want to leave.  "I never got home sick" said my youngest stepson  ..and neither did I!

When we arrived at Aulani the driveway and road leading into it is just breathtaking!  Music is playing and Cast members are there to greet you with a lai or necklace and a cold drink.  We had checked in online and requested a main level room so it was ready when we got there.  Main level is actually 3rd floor

See my other post Eats In Walking Distance

View of front from the street!  Lush and tropical!
I've stayed in Waikiki 3 times prior so this was refreshing!  Away from the city but we still had a car to enjoy the Island.  We did not even want to go anywhere busy!  Drove through Waikiki (out of the way) on the way to the airport with no regrets!
We rented a 4 door jeep wrangled $599 for full trip
Parking if you are a vacation club member is free
$35 a day for other guests
A taxi ride can run $70 each way
So this was a no brained ..and amazing!
